My main interest in pursuing architecture stems from travelling and being able to experience many different places and cultures from around the world. Through my travelling experiences I have been fortunate enough to witness many beautiful historic buildings alongside modern day architecture. An example I would like to highlight is the Vienna University Library by Zaha Hadid. To say it’s impressive in my eyes is an understatement.
I have participated in the Project Office Week here at Portsmouth University that I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in. It also helped me to develop my architectural knowledge further. I am currently also involved in the RIBA mentoring programme which is something I am very excited about. For my future career I have a few options that I would like to delve in before I decide on a specialisation, although, at this moment in time looking at cities on an urban scale is the most appealing to me.
