Growing up in the city of Rome I have always been surrounded by beautiful architecture and I was positively influenced by it. From a young age it made me strongly appreciate the practice of designing and constructing buildings in general. Model making was also something that further pushed my like and motivation in this subject area and I have enjoyed doing this since I was sixteen years old.

Even though Rome is known largely for its antique architecture, it does have its modern day architecture which I still admire; the likes of Zaha Hadid’s MAXXI museum, Ara Pacis museum and the Misericordia church by Richard Meier, Parco Della Musica (Auditorium) by Renzo Piano, etc. As for the future, I feel that I am more interested in specialising in urban design, however, there are still many other types of specialisations that are very intriguing to me.
