I was keen to pursue my interest in design at University but was not sure where to specialise. My background in English Literature and History made Architecture a great opportunity to combine my strengths in a respected subject.
I am very interested in fixating architectural design on social identity. Through studying the social currents of a place architecture can accommodate the zeitgeist to create a positive emotional impact for those who dwell within. I have completed work experience placements at Farrow Creative; a graphic design agency and Peter Langdown Photography; a freelance photographer. These experiences furthered my creativity and interest in graphic design and photography for use in Architecture. I intend to apply my interest in social architecture for humanitarian causes in more challenging areas of the world.
