I chose to study architecture at University as I enjoy the methodical thinking process of breaking down buildings and working out how and why they have been designed in a certain way. I enjoy trying to understand the ways in which architecture affects the world we live in.
My interests in modern day architecture include blending modern building techniques with old ones to create a displacement in style. Although I have not had any experience in professional practice I have experience on building sites, along with seeing how buildings are constructed and taken down. In the future I would like to specialize in the regeneration of social housing and improving living stands through sustainable design.
