After completing a degree in Interior Architecture & Design I set out into the working world with Astins (a dry-lining company) within their design department. I was fortunate enough to work on some luxury projects such as 20 Grosvenor Square, The V&A Museum and Principal Place Residence. During these projects I worked closely with the architects to help bring their visions to life in the safest and most cost effective way. In addition to working at Astins, I have also worked at Gina Design an Architectural and Interior Design practice which has helped me to gain further knowledge in construction design, gaining planning permission and meeting building regulations. While gaining this experience I decided to return to university and gain my Part 1 with the aim of becoming a registered architect.
As well as my experience above I've had multiple placements across different design fields ranging from graphic design to office planning. In the future I’d like to specialise in high-end residential design due to my interest in how the living space is constantly being redefined on varying scales.
